Eliza was enjoying having Darryl in her life, and the two spent many hours talking about their future -- the house they would build, the children they would have, the dreams they shared. Eliza wanted to make this relationship work. Even though Darryl still hadn't proposed, she felt in her heart that they were meant to be together. They really REALLY enjoyed being together. Eliza found time to continue refining her powers with Miss Emmy's help. The money trees were doing well, and Miss Emmy had encouraged Eliza to move on to other pursuits. The latest experiment had turned Eliza's water green, but left her feeling supercharged. All in all, life continued on as usual, except Eliza found that with Darryl she was a little happier each day than she had been before. Eliza also found time each day to learn more about her ancestral legacy. Isabella DiPotere, Isa for short, had tucked many pictures into her journal, and Eliza loved looking at these pieces of her own history. Isa had been an adorable litle girl (like all the DiPotere women, thought Eliza), and was as devoted to her father as a daughter could be. Isa's father was a man named Kennedy, whom Bella Donna had met working in a restaurant. Even with the immense difference in age, it was clear from these pictures that Kennedy was the love of Bella Donna's life, and that the two cherished their role as parents. How sad, thought Eliza, that this family wasn't allowed to fulfill it's legacy. Eliza stood, and as she moved to put Isa's journal away for the night, she felt a strange movement in her stomach. She spun around in a spasm of pain and suddenly Eliza knew. Her own DiPotere legacy was just beginning. ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ |
