The DiPotere Curse


	Chapter Twenty Five: The Unseen is Revealed As Emmy approached the home of Bella Goth, the shift in energy pressed hard upon her heart. Maybe this trip was crazy, maybe it was even a death sentence, but, Emmy knew it must be done. Maria had once been her charge, and she had left. During the most troubling times of Maria's young live, Emmy had not been there. Now, Emmy intended to do everything in her power to make things right again. Or die trying. "Maria, dear!," Emmy said as she walked up to the door, where Maria stood waiting. "Miss Emmy." The reply was short, unforgiving. Emmy prepared herself for the worst. As Maria led the older woman into her home, Emmy went to work. Her hands flew to the small satchel hidden within the folds of her skirt. She began to whisper, in the tongue of her native Italy, "Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato. Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato..." Maria turned back to face the old woman. "What are you doing? What are you saying?" Her eyes burned with hatred, and Emmy knew she must press on. "Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato. Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato..." As Emmy's voice filled the room, low and hushed, she pulled two small orbs from her hidden bag. The small balls of light flew through the room, encircling Maria, and covering everything in a bright red glow. Maria tried to scream, tried to run, but she was held tight, bound to the spell Emmy had cast. The room began to shift and spin as Emmy chanted on. "Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato. Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato..." Emmy's voice filled the room, and a new Maria began to emerge from the haze. "Che яПН inosservato яПН adesso rivelato.
