Eliza spent that night and most of the next morning reading through the journal Miss Emmy had given her until finally the cries of an aching belly called her to the fridge. Unfortunately, her busy schedule and empty bank account left her fridge in a rather empty state. It only took a second for Eliza to decide today was the day to try that fancy delivery service the StrangeTown Deli was always promoting. Fifty simoleans was a lot of cash, but well worth the cost of time Eliza wanted to devote to her ancestor's journal.

This book did not, as she had originally thought, belong to her Great Great Aunt Bella Donna. Instead, it was written by her daughter, Isabella, who had affectionately been dubbed Isa. Isa had been devoted to her family, to her husband and her daughter Maria, and especially to her brother Kennedy. Isa's father had been an older man, it read, and had passed away when she was a young child. Her mother had remarried to the family's housekeeper, and it was by him that Kennedy was born. Bella Donna loved Stephen, her second husband, with all her heart. But all who knew her saw the ache in her heart which remained after the loss of her first husband. Though Kennedy was showered with all the love a parent could bestow, he knew his father was not his mother's one true love. As a result, Kennedy spent his days searching for his own true love.

The cough and sputter of a delivery van interrupted Eliza's thoughts, and she pulled herself away from Isabella's journal long enough to meet the delivery man at her mailbox. Darryl Gregory had a strong nose and large beautiful eyes, and when he smiled, Eliza's stomach filled with quivers. snapshot_d2673225_32766ec6Darryl must have felt something too, because it didn't take much to convince him to stay and chat. When he left, Eliza felt empty and alone. Though she felt foolish, Eliza called Darryl that very night, and invited him over for a date.

He came over, and the two spent the night laughing and talking. As the evening was coming to an end, Eliza convinced Darryl to spend the night, and he happily accepted. They spent a magical evening together, and Eliza was sure she had met her true match. Right before she drifted off to sleep, Eliza muttered, "Stay here with me forever." To her surprise, Darryl jumped up and grabbed her in a passionate hug.

"I'd love to," he said, and Eliza prepared to add a new chapter to her life...wife and mother.
